Activation Instructions

Before activating: It’s a good idea to back up your data, so contacts, photos, etc. can be easily restored on your new phone. Refer to FAQs on assurancewireless.com for directions.

After your phone is charged and powered on, you’ll need to have the following handy:

  • Account PIN:  Don’t know your PIN? Use your current phone and dial 611 or 1-855-336-8346 to obtain your PIN number
  • 15-digit IMEI found on the label of the box your phone came in

Activation Option 1: Do-it-yourself online

  1. Visit https://myaccount.assurancewireless.com/my-account/login
  2. Log-in using your phone number and PIN
  3. Under “Your Phone” section, click on Swap/Update Phone and enter your phone's IMEI
  4. At the SIM card prompt, select “SIM that came with my new phone” and click SUBMIT. The new SIM information will automatically populate. Click the SUBMIT again
  5. Congratulations, you may now begin using your new phone

Activation Option 2: Call Customer Care for assistance

  1. Using your current phone, please dial 611 or 1-888-321-5880 and have your IMEI and SIM Card number handy
  2. Press 1 to confirm you are calling about your account
  3. Press 5 to select “Anything Else” option
  4. Press 1 to “move your service from your current phone to a new phone”
  5. You will now be transferred to a Customer Care Agent for assistance
